HSV Camaro SS with XPEL ULTIMATE+ Paint Protection Film

With the cease of locally manufactured big V8 muscle cars, we welcome a new era to our shores in the form of the Chevrolet Camaro, re-manufactured locally by HSV for our right hand drive market. Powered by a 6.2L LT1 V8 engine producing 339kw and 617nm, this Garnet red SS model Camaro barks its way from 0 to 100 in 4 second, destroying the ¼ mile in sub 13 seconds.

With performance figures like those, and the owner not afraid to shy this vehicle away from the track, protection of that stunning Garnet paint was a priority.

We worked with our client who opted for our Track Pack XPEL paint protection film (clear bra) package to cover the full front and side skirts of the vehicle from rock chips. With sticky track rated tyres, stones and track debris from high cornering speeds can often find their way onto the side of the vehicle leaving unsightly chips.

To help maintain the exceptionally high gloss finish, the vehicle has been coated in Gyeon ceramic paint protection. We chose the DuraFlex product for the range for it’s high gloss, glass like slickness, and long lasting self cleaning ability. 

Finally, a protection package wouldn’t be complete without a wheel and interior protection package. For the wheels, we have removed all wheels and coated the inner barrels and faces of the wheels. We have also coated the brake calipers to keep brake dust at bay. The interior of the vehicle has had all leather surfaces coated with Gyeon Leather Shield, with carpets treated with Gyeon’s Fabric Coat.

The owner of this American muscle car can now enjoy this vehicle at the track or around town with ultimate confidence that the vehicle is fully protected for years to come.
