The Porsche 911 GT3 Touring is still the high-performance 911 that everyone knows and loves, however it is a more understated, subtle version of the standard GT3, with many of the same performance features but without the large rear wing found on the standard GT3. This GT3 Touring of course has plans to enjoy the car as intended, with some occasional spirited driving. This comes with the risks of stone chips, scuffs, and abrasions.
This GT3 came into our Murarrie studio for a full XPEL Ultimate Protection Package as well as a full GYEON interior and wheel protection package, this includes wheel coating and interior coating on both leather and fabric surfaces.
The XPEL Ultimate Protection Package offers XPEL Ultimate PPF on all painted surfaces of the vehicle. XPEL film is cut to the pattern of the car using XPEL’s patented plotting software. This means there is no short edges, seems or visible applications of the film.
Another benefit of the XPEL Paint Protection Film is its self-healing properties. XPEL understands that the car is going to be driven and that stone chips and other abrasions are inevitable, but in almost all cases, this doesn’t require the film to be changed, it simply heals over the damage when heat is applied, retaining its perfect, high gloss finish.
Additionally, a GYEON ceramic coating was applied to the wheels, this creates an extremely hydrophobic layer, designed to repel brake dust and contamination, eliminating the risk of the harmful debris embedding itself into the wheels.
Finally, a GYEON Interior Coating was applied to all interior surfaces, this includes a ceramic leather coating, and fabric coating, creating an invisible layer between spills, stains, and the surfaces.
This GT3 Touring can now be enjoyed and driven for years, with the assurance of a 10-year warranty on the XPEL Paint Protection Film. With the correct basic maintenance, this car will continue look as good as the day it left our studio.
